Tom has more than 35 years of experience helping his clients with their accounting, tax planning, and tax compliance requirements. He started his career at PWC (one of the nation’s top two firms) where he rose to Senior Manager before leaving to a multinational client as Director of Tax.
He has extensive experience in individual taxation, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations. He is also very experienced in international tax matters, always keeping his clients’ goals and plans at the forefront of his strategies and ideas. Tom’s strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise foster a relaxed environment where his clients feel comfortable asking questions to help them understand the intricacies of their personal and business tax situations.
Tom holds a Master’s in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in South Dakota (he passed the CPA exam on his first attempt). Tom has been published in major tax journals.
